Policies & Rules

Guidelines and expectations for all students and families

Introduction

These policies are in place to ensure consistency, fairness, and a high standard of training for all students.

Attendance

Consistent attendance is essential for progress.
Students are expected to attend all scheduled classes and lessons as part of their training.

24-Hour Cancellation Policy

Private lessons must be canceled or rescheduled at least 24 hours in advance.

 

Late cancellations (within 24 hours) will be charged in full.

No-Show Policy

Missed lessons without prior notice are considered no-shows and are charged in full.

 

No-show lessons are not eligible for rescheduling.

Rescheduling

Rescheduling requests must be made in advance and are subject to availability.

 

The studio will make reasonable efforts to accommodate changes but cannot guarantee alternative times.

Late Arrival

Students are expected to arrive on time.

 

Late arrivals do not extend the scheduled lesson time and will still end at the originally scheduled time.

Billing

All billing is processed on a recurring basis.

 

Billing changes, freezes, and cancellations must be requested directly through the studio.

Cancellations

Cancellation requests must be submitted in advance.

 

The studio does not process automatic cancellations, and all requests are handled directly.

Competition Participation

Students participating in competitions are expected to follow the training structure and preparation plan set by the coaching team.

 

Commitment to scheduled training and preparation is required for participation.

Studio Etiquette

Students are expected to maintain a respectful and focused training environment.

 

Disruptive behavior may result in removal from class.

Dress Code

Students are expected to follow appropriate training attire as required by the program.

Injury & Liability

Dance training involves physical activity and carries a risk of injury.

 

By participating in classes, lessons, and studio activities, students and/or their guardians acknowledge and accept this risk.

 

D Space Academy is not responsible for injuries that may occur during training, practice, or participation in events.

Medical Responsibility

Students and parents are responsible for informing the studio of any injuries, medical conditions, or physical limitations prior to participation.

Conduct & Environment

D Space Academy maintains a professional and respectful training environment.

 

Any inappropriate, unsafe, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the studio.

Recording Policy

Video or audio recording is not permitted without prior approval from the coaching staff.

 

This applies to all students, parents, and visitors.

Guests & Studio Access

Parents, friends, and guests are only permitted in the dance space with approval from the coaching staff.

 

Visits must be brief and may not interfere with training

Supervision

Students are expected to follow instructions from coaches at all times.

 

The studio is not responsible for supervision of students outside of scheduled lesson times.

These policies are in place to maintain a professional training environment and support the development of all students.
